- New member joined - Brahmananda Sapkota (DERI Galway)
- WSMO Primer - no deliverable online - a decision will be taken when
Sinuhe will be here
- D3.2 doesn’t have a deadline in the activity sheet
- The authors wanted to wait for a stable version of D2 - D3.2
deadline depends on D2
- There is also a SEKT use case that maybe incorporated and also the
WSMX use case (Armin) may be related with D3.2
- D3.2 will be reopened and it will use D2v1.0
- D3.2 will contain for the next version B2C use case, and will be
ready in two weeks
- Deadline: 04.10.2004
- WSMO-Full has to be deleted from the activity sheet (WSMO -Full to be
incorporated in D2)
- D14 status: nothing happened recently
- D17 to be updated on the site (Titi) - the slides are difficult
to find
- D19.1 WSMO in DIP to become final: update the activity sheet
accordingly
- D2v1.0: WSMO Standard
- Section 3.7
- an instance may be an instance of multiple concepts
- The current approach = db approach: instance is like a row in a
table
- A solution would be to repeat the instance definition (define
it again)
- This solution is not consistent with the conceptual model which
says that an instance is an instance of a single concept
- Insert a foot note that says that an instance can be an
instance of several concepts
- This doesn’t apply for relations - a relation instance is an
instance of only one relation
- In the paragraph: “ For each attribute defined for the
concept this instance is assigned to there should be a
corresponding attribute value”, should has to be
replaced with could
- The previous change has to be applied for relation too
- AttributeValues and parameterValues are difficult to handle
because of the nfp; remove the nfp from their definition
- Add the parameter value definition
- Section 7
- use a different delimiters than blanks from URI - Eyal
and Michael have to decide and send the final decision to
Titi
- Discussion if the relation parameters could be named or unnamed
- Eyal to send a short note to Titi
- Discussion related to the usage of ->, <-,
<-> : Eyal suggests to use flora syntax, but the language
will became more unreadable; re-discus about arrows when Holger
will raise this issue again
- Section 5
- The definition of mediators is sometimes ambiguous – the term
connect instead of link should be used; Ruben to make a proposal
and send it to Holger or Titi
- All the changes discussed to be implemented by Monday - the
version 1.0 will be final
- The next version to be discussed on Wednesday
- Next Wednesday: BPMO (Business Process Management Ontology)
